My birthday is August 15 (tomorrow) and i only got 2 happy birthdays……. I look at other people with the same b-day and they already have like 10 happy birthdays.
I am not popular at all, I am quite the loner actually. But I know a lot of people in school but they do not know me that well. What happens if no one says happy birthday to me on facebook? I’m scared not a lot of people are going to say happy birthday to me……
If it helps, I have 1,100 friends.
Snap! My birthday is tomorrow too
But if it helps, I always always give a happy birthday to people on facebook, even if I don’t really know them. I think people will do this for you too, and the odds are raised with 1,100 friends! I’m pretty sure people will say happy birthday to you, but if they don’t, it’s really not the end of the world!
Stop worrying, and have a wonderful day (:
And from me? HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

My sister in law is expecting a baby any day, but she lives in Spain and we live in the UK. We want to send her a gift when the baby is born but Interflora’s selection of flowers for Spain is horrible and we would rather send a ‘new baby’ gift basket or ballloon bouquet than flowers. She lives in the Murcia area, and although we would prefer to use a local florist or shop around there, any company which will deliver throughout Spain would do.
I’ve tried several UK websites which claim to deliver to Spain, but when I click through to checkout they only list the UK for delivery.
Does anyone know of any website, whether written in Spainish or English, where I can order the gift?
Thanks!
Please don’t suggest Interflora – as mentioned, they only deliver a VERY limited selection of flowers within Spain, none of which are suitable.
Also, if possible, please can you provide links to baby baskets / balloon bouquets if you suggest a website. Thanks!

i live in the uk and send flowers to spain with them , selection alrigh and prices reasonable.

I am going to a baby shower soon and I wanted to put together a basket for the new mom. I was thinking of doing things for when the baby is sick/unhappy, like Desitin, gas drops, baby tylenol, Vicks vapo-rub, etc. However, I don’t have any children so I was hoping to get some ideas and recommendations from you ladies who have been there and know what helped you. What are your thoughts?
Baby tylenol and baby motrin (doctors recommend to alternate the two when the baby has a fever), diaper rash cream, johnson and johnson’s mentholated baby wash (really opens up baby’s stuffy nose), thermometer, medicine dropper, gas drops, teething tablets etc… What I really enjoyed also is my family made me a gift basket that had things for me to do in the hospital while in labor and recovering….they packed travel sized shampoos and soaps, toothpaste, yummy smelling lotions, deodorant, extra absorbant kotex with wings (she will definitely need those, a big bag of them), a pretty robe and slippers, crossword puzzles, and a magazine.

I am making a baby shower gift basket and I was wondering if that basket would be okay or if I need the wooden/easter type of basket. I plan on putting a bunch of little stuff in the basket….like soaps, brush, nail clippers, wash clothes, burp rags and so on. I already have a basket and its pretty much the same as this one. Only mine does not have the two handles….so would mine be okay…honest answers please cuz i dont wanna go there looking sleezy

I think it is fine….little baskets are always nice with a new baby. I had one in each room with my newborns to catch all the clutter that seems to accumulate all over the house with a newborn (pacifiers, rattles, caps, gloves, etc.)
If you are worried about the overall effect….just line it with a nice blanket and it will be very nice. You may even want to wrap the whole thing up in Cellophane to make it appear very BOUTIQUE-ISH.

where can i get a basket to put stuff in and how do i complete the finishing touches. Any suggestions what gifts to put in the basket…i want it to be unique and not like everyone elses gift….thanks
You can buy baskets at Walmart or at a craft store such as Michaels or Hobby Lobby. What you put in it will depend..do you want it to be for the baby or for the new mom? If for the baby, you could put diapers, lotion, baby shampoo, stuffed animals, blankets, rattles, or pacifiers in it. If for the mom, you could put a baby book, bubble bath, lotion, a photo album or frame, or anything else you think a new mom would appreciate.

im looking for a new idea of what to make for a baby gift for a shower. ive done a nappy cake, bunch of socks and baby clothes (bunch of flowers) and gift baskets/hampers. has anyone got any other ideas of what i can do. i enjoyed making the sock bouquets… is there anything i can do similar but in a different shape! i like unusual so all ideas welcome
my girlfriend bought a bunch of cloths for my daughter and put them on a cloths line with cloths pins and then laid them in a tall hamper with a note on the end of the line that said "pull slowly" It was amazing! She went way over board and the line stretched about 50 feet long. It was the hit of our shower. So our gift was a cute pink hamper and a ton of cloths. I am not a fan of the diaper cakes because we didn’t like the diapers and I ended up not using them at all.

I was thinking of putting together a basket of some sort for a baby shower…what are some good items to put in it? I was thinking a "bath time" themed gift basket. Diapers, towels, wash cloths, lotion, soap, brush, bath toys, nail clippers…any other ideas? Or any other themes that would be fun? Its a girl…
We just put together a gift basket for my sister in law and it went over great! They are really cute. We did a whole bunch of items like onesies, pacifier, toys, gas drops, butt cream, baby lotion and soaps, bibs, shoes, socks, etc.
If you are doing a bath time one you should look for one of those baby robes to put in it those things are sooo cute and work great for bath time. Also I would suggest a rubber ducky and putting all of the things in an inexpensive baby bath tub! That would be adorable.
Good Luck and Have Fun!!
