Since your going on vacation,why don’t you get her a makeup case and fill it with mini travel size items.Such as suntan lotion,regular hand lotion.soap,nail polish.emery boards,shampoo,shower cap etc.Try Walmart or avon.Then pay for lunch for her,or if your all staying in a motel with complementary breakfast,serve it to her in the morning.You could also order a pizza the night before you go,so mom doesn’t have to cook.Have a great time!
My grandparents want to know what I want for my Confirmation.I know that I don’t want a Bible, Rosary, Book or Crucifix/Cross (I have a ton of these items already). I was thinking maybe a saint medal or a necklace of some sort. They don’t like to give money or gift cards. Does anyone have any other realistic ideas?
Who is your chosen saint? Perhaps a medal and a book about that saint would be nice.
A pretty cross or crucifix necklace would help you tell the world about what you’ve just done.
A scrapbook to put Confirmation Day keepsakes into would be nice.

I’m going out to lunch and a movie with a guy for the first time(so it’s kinda like a first date i guess), but it’s also his bday. I want to get him something thoughful, but honestly I have no ideas. He likes basketball, running, videogames, and white chocolate if that helps. And I was thinking I should buy lunch. But if anyone has any gift ideas, it would be much appreciated. Thanks SO much!!!
Since it is a first date, you could get away with just a card. You don’t want to go overboard on a first date obviously. Maybe a box of good white chocolate, or a book on baseball or running would be appropriate.
