i got a mini catalog from vera bradley the other day.
how about you clean your house/do chores and stuff and make her breakfast in bed, take her shopping during the day, and then go out to an extra special dinner?
or get her a puppy/kitten. everybody loves puppies/kittens.

Word stones seemed like a cool idea. Like $20 each you could do 3 of them for $60 with words like mom | love| patience | or driver | housekeeper | cook. You know. good describing words. You’d probably have to do them soon since moms day is a next month.

I’ve always struggled with what to get my Mom for Mothers Day. I mean, it was easy when I was little – stick my handprint in some wet clay and poof! A neat ashtray or paperclip holder.
There are some great ideas out there like breakfast gift baskets, stuff for the garden – there’s a great free ebook on growing roses – and even some fair trade jewelry.
